Use these links if you are registering a new student in the Ellensburg School District for the upcoming school year. This section is for students whose families reside within the Ellensburg School District boundaries. If you are unsure if your address is inside the school district boundaries, call the district transportation office at (509)925-8100 to confirm. Just Moved to Ellensburg?

If your family is new to the Ellensburg School District, or if you were here before and are coming back, you’ll need to fill out the full enrollment form to get started.

You'll be asked to upload some documents, something that shows where you live now (like a utility bill or lease) and something that proves your age (like a birth certificate or passport).

The school will also ask for your vaccination records. If you got your shots in another state, you’ll need to bring a record from a doctor or clinic that proves it.

If your family is staying with someone else and you don’t have a bill or lease in your name, there’s a special form the person you’re living with can fill out to help confirm your address.

Your full legal name (the name on your birth certificate) will be used for all school records.

Moved to a New Place in Ellensburg?

If your family already lives in the Ellensburg School District but you just moved to a different house or apartment, you’ll need to let the school know your new address.

To do that, you’ll upload something that shows where you live now, a utility bill or a lease.

Already Have a Student in School?

If you already have a child going to school in Ellensburg and you’re signing up a new student, you can log in to Skyward Family Access and choose New Student Online Enrollment.

This process is a little quicker, but you’ll still need to upload a document that shows the new student’s age, a birth certificate or passport. You’ll also need to share their vaccination records if they aren’t already in Washington’s system.

Students must be 5 years old by Aug. 31 to be admitted to kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year. In addition to age, we ask parents also consider maturity and academic readiness for their student.

Families choosing to homeschool their student(s) must complete and submit the required forms to remain in compliance with Washington State law and Ellensburg School District policies.
